Safety get stuck halfway

Dear P64 Community,

I have shot about 250 rounds through my P64. But now the safety catch (lever) gets stuck half-way. I can fix it by "realigning" with a pen what looks like a firing pin "transfer bar" although it is unclear it actually has one. Whatever it is, it protrudes out of the safety catch. Is my firing pin broken? Any suggestions?

Hey, it is me again. It is a broken firing pin.
Broken firing pin broken at "shank".
Broken firing pin broken at "shank".
.

I've seen some suggestions about some person in Poland. But are there any domestic sources?

Nope, Poland is going to be about your best bet. Sorry to hear it's a broken pin. Darn.

tiber1's P-64 blew up over the weekend. Well, the barrel bulged. He said in his post he was going to try to get the slide off and go from there. If he decides to part the gun out, you may want to contact him and get first in line for dibs on a firing pin.

Here is his post:

Pretty sure the firing pin is something that can be removed even with the slide on. The safety would have to be in the SAFE position so the disconnector wouldn't interfere with it coming out. So, I'd say give him a holler, worst he can say is no.

The firing pin from Poland is going to cost you $20 after shipping and all. Plus a 14 -21 day delay period.
