Skylane,

Your best bet would probably be Gunbroker. I have not seen them advertised in some time. Maybe Norm will see this. He comes up with some dealers that you don't normally see.

BTW, be aware that people have reported problems with this modification in the past such as feeding issues, etc.

I have a mint CZ-52 and would not modify it, but I like stock guns.

Welcome to the forum!

:)

It is not hard to change out the barrels. Takes about 15 seconds. The CZ-52 will shoot a little low. At least mine does. Make sure the barrel come with all the parts. Some of them from AIM surplus didn't have the rollers and the pins. My 52 shoots 9 mm FMJ very well and there is no recoil to speak of. It will not fire HPs very well. The 9 mm barrel is longer and black. You do not want to shoot the wrong ammo. You won't regrett getting the 9 mm barrel.

I like my CZ-52,but it has a pretty heavy trigger. Romanian surplus ammo from J&G is cheap also, but inspect your cases!-I had 120 rds. with split case necks-even with the bad ammo, the surplus was cheap&sure-fire.

Skylane, Welcome!

My barrel was made by CZ and functions properly.
I agree with Darrell, remove the 7.62 barrel, switch out the old rollers or buy new, install the 9mm barrel and shoot. Mine took a break in period of about 100 rounds then no problems at all, shoots just like any other large frame 9mm with really tiny sights.

Just like Gunneyrabbit, my CZ 9 mm works nicely, particularly with a new recoil spring. Dave_n
