Moderator?

Post by robhic »

This nutball with his "new life" stuff is just a troll. If I were to post something inflammatory or vulgar, it would be deleted and I'd get scolded. WHO WOULD DO THIS? Is there a moderator for this forum and why hasn't this troll been silenced? Not that it bothers me, I skip it. But on principle, just seems an OBVIOUS troll would be history by now. :?

I second the question AND the sentiment. Is there a moderator? Admin has been asked at least 3 times to silence / remove him. And while I am all for open expression, comments that are made to inflame should not be allowed here, 1st Amendment or not as this IS a private forum, not public. Just my 5 seconds of hot air.

There is a red exclamation mark down in the lower right hand part of post. This is to notify mods of B.S. messages. I used it and it came back that no one had reported it. I did so we shall see if it goes away. And as i understand it you shouldn't answer posts like that cause it makes it harder for the mods to delete. Hope this helps the next time some dimwit posts again.

I thought moderators kept an eye on threads to make sure nothing got out of hand as a matter of course and not waiting for the Bat Signal to swoop down and kill an out of hand thread. Maybe I misunderstood. Thank you for the info Norman.

Thank you Norm. We appreciate what you do. Right guys? And please explain the proper way to go about requesting the muzzeling or removal of said trolls in the future so we are all on the same page.

I feel kinda dumb. I just noticed at the top of every forum is a "How to report spam" topic. It mentions the exclamation point at bottom of threads. I guess my situational awareness needs work!
