I've always been a gun nut, mostly old "cowboy" stuff (I own way too many 1894 Winchesters) and old military bolt actions.
I walked into a gun show tonight with the intent of adding another single action revolver to my collection when I walked past a table with an intriguing little firearm on it.
At first I thought it was a Makarov, but upon closer inspection I realized it wasn't, and I had no idea what the Hell it was.
Naturally, I did a quick google search, found the price was fairly decent, and snapped it up.
I've got to say, I'm looking forward to owning this little pistol

Here it is, Wolff spring was ordered tonight, I like a stiff double action as much as the next guy but this was certainly way to heavy.

What's that writing along the upper edge of the slide? I don't recall seeing that on 9 that I've refurbished? I've done a 1968 and up to a '77 and they all just said '9mm' and 'P64'. The slide was blank, otherwise.

Importer stamp. I thought I'd read that every firearm imported is supposed to have it in some form, although perhaps yours were imported before that regulation went into effect.
Re: My First P64
Other than mentioned above, all the roll-marking is on the R/H (looking from back) side of slide. S/N is on right as well as barrel (I think?) but L/H side (w/de-cocker) is blank otherwise.
