New to forum, new to me P-64

Post by HassoBoxhead »

Howdy all,

Just joined the forum but have been reading posts non-stop it seems for the
past week waiting to get my pistol.

Finallly arrived and after a good cleaning and familiarization with the triggers I took her to the range...she sure was snappy, but I have not fired a pistol that I was this accurate with on my first outing! At 7 yards I was more in the bull than out, and none outside the 9 ring other than a flyer when I made the mistake of anticipating the recoil...

The pistol is a 1977 with little wear of any kind...even the import mark is very small on the right side of the slide, leaving the left pristine...

Could not be happier with this little piece, can't wait for more trips to the range!

Received my P 64 last week via my C&R FFL from AIM Surplus. Very nice firearm.........looks new. After cleaning and inspecting took to range. Very happy with results..........especially firing 1st round single action. I ordered the 22# recoil spring & 18# hammer spring from Wolff, replaced both springs yesterday. The magazine ejects must smoother! Can't wait to get it back out to range. Thanks for all the info!!
