first P64

Post by keith150 »

I had an option to trade a Ruger P89 with 2 15 round mags for a P64 dated 1969 with 2 mags and a 100 rounds and after doing a little research on this forum and others on the web I did it I had a set of springs ordered they came yesterday and I got the little pistol today and the da pull was wicked est 20+ lbs so I put in the springs in made it more manageable can't wait to fire it a little unfortunately I can't upload any pictures atm keeps telling me the file size is too big

I added a 22lb recoil spring and 17 lb hammer spring shot great at the range 10yards all in 9 and 10 ring just a pain to try to make out the Damn front sight the sa pull was about 4 pounds which I'm use to with my 1911s the dbl has still tough but manageable
