Got my second p64 in last week and grips came yesterday.
Can anyone tell my why the hammer looks different from my other p64?

Re: New P64 from AIM
In 1972 some minor changes were made, the shape of the hammer was one change. If your other pistol was made after 1972, then that's the reason. Some people like the old style round hammer (maybe less likely to snag while concealed carry?), some people like the newer larger hammer as it's usually easier to thumb cock. I think there was a minor change around 1971 to the round hammer, but nothing like the shape change in later 1972.
