New p-64 owner question

Thanks for the advice. I followed that approach when I got my Mosin-Nagant as it was packed with cosmoline. My P64 was bone dry. In shooting it in, it feels like a new gun. I'll lube it like you suggested (I still have that lube) and I guess I'll just have to run a few hundred rounds through it. That's a tough job, but someone has to do it. I just got my loading dies in, and I have 500 hard cast bullets and 500 shells of Starline brass. Now I have to find some good recipes for reloading. I have a bunch of different powders. Suggestions are welcome.
