Update on my P-64
I've been carrying my P-64 for 2 weeks now. Just want to share my pleasure with this pistol. It's really great, I'm 5'11 and 200 lbs and for me the recoil isn't that bad. I can nail the center of a paper plate @ 20 ft. every time. Yes my double action pull is hard but I wouldn't notice it in a emerg...

Re: What type/brand of ammo do you like to feed to your pist
Excuse me then... but they did run a magnet over the ammo and told me I could not use it. I guess I should be more careful in posting replies in the future when I have something to add to the conversation.... :? Have a great day. Scout, I thank you for the input about ranges not allowing steel or m...

Re: Sometimes I just love "experts"/authority figures.
The 9x18 is a proven round especially at close range. I like my p-64, it's a larger more powerful round than James Bonds Walther ppk and just as accurate. The most bang for the buck. Kinda think of Bond when I wear my shoulder rig. As JJ would say, It's dy-na-mite, in a small package.

Re: Used my CZ 82 shoulder holster
Sorry don't have a way to take pictures. Ordered 3 of them and a 2 mag pouches back when I got my CZ82. I'm 5'11" with a 38 inch waist and it just fits let out almost all the way. The P64 fits inside great except for the top leaves a little gap. The leather piece across the top on the inside is...

Re: Sometimes I just love "experts"/authority figures.
The reason for 22's is that they are the most popular and in the homes of most Americans. So if 90% of us drove fords, then most car crashes would involve fords.

9x18 is just as bad at close range as 9x19. I use silver bear...

Peening the slide
My newly acquired p-64 slide has been peened inside where the two legs touch the safety. Was that done to tighten the safety ? The pistol looks almost new, just curious...

Re: Slide will not go into battery with a round chembered
Just got mine today. It does it with the safety on. Give it a push and it goes forward and lets the hammer down. Safety off it works fine. Decocker and safety work fine with hammer in cocked position. I thought that s the way it was designed to work. 1. Chamber a round safety off. 2. If not ready to...

Re: AIM SURPLUS
Mine came today. Nice, very little wear at the muzzle area. Cleaned and shot it already. Single action is great, double action is bad. Had to use two fingers double action. Shoots great, recoil not bad shooting silver bear. Saw thenagantman review and held the ejector while reinstalling the slide. A...

Re: AIM SURPLUS
I too am having one delivered tomorrow from AIM can't wait. Paid the extra for the handpick, Been reading up on the P-64, from all I've seen and read, it appears to be a neat little pistol. Plan to carry it as a primary or a backup depending on the situation. I have been carrying my CZ 82, I think t...
