I'd be interested, what's the cost?

Recoil on my P83 seems pretty light to me. I feel the same about all of my 9x18s really.

Re: Mosin Nagant collecting
I'm not really a long gun fan, but I do have one M44. Neat old gun and a lot of fun to shoot.

Re: CZ-82
Do you by any chance have this article at it's original size? I'd love to read it, but one paragraph in and my eyes are crossed. The print's just a little too tiny for me to comfortably read. Thanks!

Re: CZ 82 Refinishing
When I blued mine, I only field stripped it and took off the trigger guard. No problem. Aircraft stripper worked great removing the old finish.dolang1 wrote: I'm still confused about how far I need to take the gun down.

Re: pa-63 finish question
Like the above poster said, blueing and parkerizing won't take on aluminum. Get a can of Mother's mag polish and shine up your frame. Mine was a little cruddy when I first got it, but after polishing, it almost looks like stainless steel. I'm not really a fan of tutone guns, but for some reason I re...

The pin/ pin hole arrangement is also the same on my PA-63.

Re: New CZ-82!
Do cz 82's fling brass worse, or farther than other guns? I don't know about all of them, but mine sure does. I do most of my shooting in the woods on my own property. The 82 chucks the brass so far out into the woods that I rarely ever find an empty 9x18 casing. It's a straight shooter though. I w...

Re: CZ-82 : Makarov or Makarov-caliber?
They're completely different guns. The only thing they have in common is the round they're chambered for. The CZ-82 is one of the best bargains in handguns out there, IMO. Strip off the black finish and blue it, put on a set of Marschal grips and it's a real beauty too.

Re: comparison of pa-63 and cz-82?
For the money it's hard to do better than a CZ-82. Contrary to what some have said, I find that it carries quite comfortably in a pocket if you use a good holster.
