P64 design
Hello everyone, just sitting around the house on a cold South Carolina night, cleaning the 64 and looking for a little conversation. Whenever I use the P64 cant help but wonder what they were thinking. The gun is very compact, thin, low capacity and hard to acquire quickly sights. Everything a "...

Re: New p-64 owner question
Your pistol should have the round hammer and yes with the factory spring it can be a little stiff to cock. Replacing the hammer spring with the 19lb one will make double action pull AND thumb cocking the hammer much easier

Magazine from SOG

Price was $18.00 but $15.00 to ship for a total of $33.00  came in a box big enough for 30 or 40 mags! I know they have to charge for shipping but...

Where is price headed?
Supply of P64s seem to have all but dried up. What seems to be a fair price these days? Back in 2009 I think I paid 175 (kick myself for ever getting rid of it) and paid 220 a few weeks ago when one turned up at the pawn shop and I was glag to get it. I realy wanted another one and may have went 250...

Trigger Pull
Got my first P64 in 2009 it was a 67. The trigger pull in DA was heavy but not "crazy" I didnt know what all the fuss was about. After I had one I started looking at everyone I came across and found the trigger pull in DA was all over the map while SA was somewhat constant. WHY! I understa...

which hammer spring would you suggest. I would like to lighten up DA a-bit but dont want to much of a hair trigger in SA. from what I read looks like 18 or 19.

Re: Feed lips on mag are too long, won't work
the longer feed lip mags came out sometime in early 70s(cant remember what year) and they work in the later made guns. the later made guns will use both the long lipp and short lip. the older guns only use the short. most people use a drimmel tool or files to cut the lips down so they will work in t...
