Re: p-64 sights

Turbocat, Thanks for the photos of your P-64. Kinda reminds me of an old model 10 S & W revolver that I had. No rear sight just the ramp with the glow in the dark front sight and it was accurate as my S & W model 66 which had target sights. Fast pick up and one of the smoothes...

Re: My new Marschal grips

Jpenland, I did buy the same grips from Dennis that you got. But I went with the light colored zebra hardwood checkered grips. They are awesome and glad that I spent the money. Amazing how well they suck into my hand. Your photos were excellent. I have to stop from taking my P-64 out of the holster ...

Re: p-64 surpresser

If a short barreled .22LR pistol like the Walther TPH can be suppressed, then a P-64 would be no problem. As Justintaylor stated, find a good gunsmith or a company that would make an extended barrel or an adapter like I have seen for the Walther TPH. Just be sure to do the BATF tax stamp or l...

Re: Cleaning and Lubing??

I use whatever is in my cleaning kit. The militarys use of solvents and other lubes like breakfree in the M16s really sold me on it's use in my range guns. I do like the Rem oil too. Little white lithium grease on the slide/frame rails goes a long way too. Important to keep the machinery going. Sgt P.

Excellent. I look forward to some of the new information here that many of our members will utilize to save some money and have a ball reloading. Time to save up for a new reloader and dies. ;) Sgt P.

The slide knicks my hand

Dmontagnese, Check out the small Hogue hand-all that slips over the black plastic grips on your P-64. Also do not choke up so high on the grips. I like the Dennis Marschal finger grip larger grips that are checkered. You may pay a little more, but I have found out that they keep my hand in a propper...

magazine finally arived from poland

Hey Mellisallen, as many of us here have Polish backgrounds, how much was the perogies and kibasa? My grandmother was an awesome cook. She used to make those powdered sugar coated cookies and fruit filled cookies. They would never teach us Polish & Russian. But we hope to visit Poland and the Uk...

Reloading

In the long run reloading is a much cheaper solution to paying what some of these ammo dealers are selling their ammo for. When I had my FFL, I also looked into commercial mfg of ammo for our personal use in the Combat Arms section here in the Air Force. It was to only be used in our private weapons...

sportsmansguide 4-position holster

Brock123, That would be great. as I am using an old Uncle Mikes pocket holster right now and am looking for something a little stiffer. ;) As far as the larger pockets go, we wear alot of shorts down here and many of mine are the larger pocketed military style ones. Look forward to your photos and t...

Mosin Nagant Reduced Power Loads

Justin, I think you answered your own question. Why? Just reload the original 7.62 X 54R cases with a differant powder load and same diameter round bullet. Check on what would be a good load as you do not want a squib load blocking the barrel. :o I have deerhunted with my M44 Russian Mosin Nagant ca...
