Yes, the "safety decocker" is a feature so you will not have touch the hammer when using it.
I know, it looks weird and scary and I always handle the pistol like its going to fire.
Never had a discharge, but have not actually used the decocker much.

I have gotten away from preformance ammo cause I liked to shoot a lot of it before I was satisfied with the functioning. Lets say 150 rounds no problems. It just cost too much to find out and then if it did'nt, well, what a waste. How does the Kahr do with quality ball 115?

Why worry about magazine capacity in the P-64 when you can "New York reload." Two is good.

That is a good question. Early mags have a larger cut out for the slide stop. The latter mags have approx. half the cut out.

late mag----small
I am not sure when the change occured so can not say which is "correct" in a 1969, but they are interchangeable.

This trigger always reminds me that a crisp clean pull through is what is best. I should not try to "feel" it or get on the trigger.

The cleaning rod fits inside the holster in a leather straw inline with and beside the top of the slide.
