SMC-22 problems
Southpaw, Could be several things. Most of the SMC-22 pistols that my co-workers brought to the range over the years have had ammo reliability issues. ??? Have you tried differant brands of .22LRs? I know some of my .22 pistols will only go back into battery if I am using CCI brand ammo. The Sig mos...

Lost my grip nut
Ace hardware had a bunch at .17 each. I bought 5 and did darken them up like my Pop taught me while making muzzloading rifle parts. Norm too mentioned how to also do this on a previous post. Sgt P.

Wow people really jack up the prices...
Yeah it is like buying cars, if they are the nice ones then they get sold off fast. If they are weapons the dealers themselves snag them up or sell them to buddies at gun shops.

New member new P64
Art, welcome to the club. :) I had never fired a P-64 before and I was amazed how accurate this little gun is. I had started with the E.German makarov from Century Internation Arms and jumped back and forth between that and a Russian T-33 Tokarov until I got the CZ-52 bug. I bought one and a few of ...

MORE S&W
Paddywonka, Beautiful S & W revolvers. I carried a 4" S & W model 15 for years when I first came into the Air Force as an SP. I should have bought that revolver when the service offered them up for sale. Never failed to qualify with the model 15 and it shot like a dream. How do you like...

p-64 firing pin
Norm, Thanks for the reply on buying some stainless steel rod to make firing pins out of. Wish that I had my Pops old metal lathe. When he passed on my sister sold all of his metalworking tools to include a milling machine, drill press plus his muzzloading barrel rifling machine, plus the metal lath...

Marschal grips???
Guys, you also have to remember that these grips are custom made to each order. Hell I waited 4 months for Hogue grips out in CA to make me a pair of checkered hardwood grips. Good things take time to make. :) I trade uniforms with a military friend in Hungary, it is hard as their postal system is a...

Norm is a great person to have give assistance. His knowledge is way beyond my 50 years! When I need assistance, I will call him to help me out, or set me straight. Difficult as I worked on military small arms for so many years that the commercial weapons are a little bit more complex with many fine...

Review – US Gunleather
I will have to say that his work is outstanding too! I have one of his older IWB RH holsters for my P-64 and it too as well made as his belt slide holsters and magazine carriers. My next purchase when he completes his back orders is a belt slide P-64 holster and a dual P-64 magazine carrier. One of ...

Kurremkarm, Thanks for the info. I was scoping out his magazines on gun broker. $20 each. Have to ask him shipping costs here to the US. No my buddy had his friend in Germany write machine parts on the customs form and when they x-rayed it and saw gun parts he had to hire a lawyer as he did not have...
