It sure looks like a P64. The only other pistol I have that even comes close is the Carpati 95

Re: got my first ever 1911 45acp pistol today
Hoping this one waits a while. I have a few that are still in their reproducing prime. Fortunately this one was acquired by the loss of one of the AR's that kept finding its way into the clan. I have several other 45acp pistols but for what ever reason have always stayed away from the 1911 platform....

I have several of the "openers" that came with the spam cans but still find it easier to use the hammer and screwdriver approach.

got my first ever 1911 45acp pistol today
I picked up a Springfield Armory Champion Operator today. This is the first 1911 platform 45acp I have even owned. I have shot pistols for years but have always stayed clear of the 1911. I am hoping to have some time tomorrow to take it out for a test run. Seems like a nice pistol but not having a b...

saiga 223 conversion
A big thanks to "The Only Sarge" (another member here) for pointing me in the direction of the AR mag well adapter for the Saiga 223. I received the magwell today and installed it. It runs fine in my test box but need to get it to the range with a couple different AR mags to see how it wor...

Re: .410 Truck Gun
I can hook you up with Mikes contact info if you want. That would be great. I am going to be headed up to pick up my S223 next week. I was up at JG's a couple of weeks ago and for some reason did not get one  I was there to pick up more 762 x54r as my DPM is bleeding me dry, great rifle but i...

Re: .410 Truck Gun
NICE. I did not realize the S223 could be adapted to use the AR mags. What all is involved? I have done plenty of saiga conversions just never knew I could make one use the AR mag. The CZ82 is still one of the best little sleepers on the market. I really like the looks of them in the two tones. My n...

Re: Picked up a new RIA M1911 A1 tody
In the past I have always had trouble with accuracy shooting a 1911. My buddy picked up an RIA 1911 the other day and we took it to the range. He finally convinced me to shoot it and all I can say is wow. At 25ft the first time I had ever picked up the gun I shot an 8 round 2.5" group. It is no...

Re: .410 Truck Gun
well I like 3- 2 1/2 buckshot and 2- 2 1/2 slugs. Great combination for those pesky coyotes that get lucky enough to avoid the close range shots. A little practice and it is amazing how easy it is to hit with the 410 from the hip. PS make sure you lock your truck if you have it in there.. . . . . do...

forgot how much fun
I forgot how much fun these little jewels are to shoot. I did not realize it had been so long since I took one of my 64s to the range. A buddy of mine knew how much I liked mine and was looking at getting a JG 64. We went to the gun club the other day and just as I remembered it shot exceptionally w...
