Yahoo! I got one! CZ82 that is

the only trouble I had with the CZ82 is that it was such a nice pistol I had to go and get the CZ83:). Love them both, just a bit large to cc but the high cap sure is nice.

older brother finally joined

I went to JG sales this morning. They said they had some very nice never fired early P64's. I found one that wanted to come home and join his younger brother. It is a 1971 round hammer to go with the 1976 triangle hammer.

cold bluing

well took it out for a real test. All worked very well and the heat from over 2500 rounds did not seem to change the color. I guess now it is time to do the mauser.

cold bluing

All the pieces are back and installed:) I used the Birchwood Casey cold blue 3 bottle kit. I did spend a large amount of time making sure that all the small surface pits were removed and the metal was polished clean. I used some steel wool with the stripper to get the tough spots. When applying the ...

cold bluing

well I finished the bluing and managed to get the rifle back together again, amazing how many parts there are to a simple rifle when it is broke down completely. The wood was refinished while I had it apart and looks good. I am still waiting for the trigger guard to come back from a friend of mine w...

CZ 70

you should look at the CZ27 (also in 32) These are accurate and easy to shoot. Most of the gals I take out, that are ready for centerfire pistols, really like shooting my cz27. Good heavy gun and light round. Still the problem of not wanting to reload 32 though.

How was your P-64 packaged?

picked mine up at J&G also so no packaging. It is however crying for its twin brother to be brought home. Might have to head up again and get another.

Would you consider sharing the original scans? Would be great to have a decent breakdown pic for my 82 and 83.

J&G P-64's

I visit J&G a couple of times a month and have never seen a bad P64 there. They have the display case up front and some of the pistols in there look like they have been through some rough times but all the P64's have been in really nice shape. Some of the CZ 82's I have seen there would be bette...

S&B all the way in my euro pistols. Cost a little more but works and isn't too dirty plus it seems to be always available.

an easy game of wheres p64

I was bored today and wanted to do some reorganization. I took out my pistols for a photo opportunity. Makes for an easy game of Wheres the P64. Don't think any help finding it is needed.
