Range Report

Shooting the Tokarev takes the fun factor to a whole new level. Available many places for just over 2 bills. Still plenty of surplus ammo around for about 10 cents a round. Wolf Gold even makes an 85 grn. JHP. Makes a great range gun for targets or just plain plinking. I've got three, 2 Romys and 1 ...

What causes this?

I'll 2nd the advise given for a good overnight soaking. I use mineral spirits followed by compressed air.
Only time i've had a pistol fail to return to battery was due to a weak recoil spring. Installed a new spring and my problem was solved.

1935 Browning Hp

Turned out very nice Norm, as different as night and day.
Few questions if i may:
Any idea what was the cause of the damage to the original finish? Appears to be some sort of chemical spill?
New grips made by yourself? Type of grip material?
All in all, a very good looking rig.
