Re: New to P64s and jazzed!
Thanks. Makes it a better, more modern, pocket pistol IMO.

Re: P-64's increasing in " Value " ?
Given that they aren't being made anymore one should in the next decade or two expect to see some price increase. Right now the market is saturated, but that will change. We saw this with Lugers after WWII when you could buy one for about $15 mail order. LoL, not anymore.

Re: Increased magazine capacity
For the longest time (like 2 years) I was stymied about how to deepen the magazine floor plate. Then today while playing with a piece of delrin I was thinking why not make two halves of a floor plate then fuse them together?

Re: Front sight replacement
I have an old Colt 1903 slide with zip/Nada/no historical significance as when I got it I got it parted from it's original pistol and with a badly pitted and rusty exterior. I had it polished down and the factory markings redone by an engraver, however they are not original stamps (just very well do...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!
This is/was a non-reversible, happily Bubba, one way conversion. The Hi Viz Spark III Shotgun sight was, after much viewing or other fiber optic sight patterns from both Hi Viz and other makers, chosen as the height and shape most appropriate for this pistol size and design. Also it has the plus of ...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!
I think wood grips are awesome on a P64. So too is a fiber optic front sight.

Re: Increased magazine capacity
Obvious answer to the slit saw problem suddenly occurred to me. 3 D print the new floor plate.

I got this off Ebay. The seller was in Poland. I have been pretty happy with it.

Re: Front sight replacement
Before anyone asks, yes the modification requires a non reversible Bubba type change. The original front sight is ground off, then a size 31 drill is used to make a new hole in the slide at the desired place of placement. Then the hole is tapped with a #6 48 tap (I strongly suggest the hole be begun...

Front sight replacement
The factory sight on my P64s is so 20th century that being part Bubba I decided to modernize one of mine. I removed the factory front sight and installed a Hi Viz Spark III fiber optic sight. The colors of the sight can be easily changed if so desired. SidebySide.jpg I changed the grips to wooden on...

Re: Wolff 18 lb Hammer Spring dangerous
What I found with the 17 pounder was under recoil the magazine release would shift (since both use the same spring) and the magazine would fall out. However, when I switched to the 19 pounder that problem vanished.
