Anyone else find it odd to find an Obama add here?
I think it is very ironic that proboards is hosting an Obama ad here on a gun forum.

Get the Wolf 19 or 20lb mainspring and the increased power recoil spring. They really do help.

GUNSHOW TODAY
Generally, I've found it is just the opposite. Most of what I have seen (at least with American manufacturers) is that non-reloadable stuff (mainly steel cased) will say Non-reloadable. Reloadable stuff usually doesn't say anything.$
Unless it says "reloadable" I assume it is not.

GUNSHOW TODAY
I went to the Palmetto, Fl show on Saturday. One dealer had a P-64 and the price was $275. Needless to say I passed on that one. Then, I found a dealer that had one marked $175. I talked him down to $150. With tax and NICS, I was out $164 for a 1972 round hammer with 2 mags.

Even a blind pig finds an occasional acorn
Volfandan, this same pawn shop had just the type guns you listed for the same high prices. The only reason I got a sweet deal is the friend of a friend arrangement. In talking with him while hunting, I got a picture of the kind of money they pay out. This pawnshop owner paid $50 for a like-new Savag...

Even a blind pig finds an occasional acorn
This blind pig sumbled onto a juicy acorn today. My hunting partner has a friend that occasionally hunts with us. This guy owns a pawn shop and gives my hunting partner 1st shot at anything comming off pawn. He calls me last night and tells me I can have a Russian commercial Mak for $125. Heck yea I...

New PA-63
I see lots of these at gun shows that look like they are newly manufactured. Does anyone know if these new ones are as good as the older ones that were actually used by the Hungarians?

What did you get for Christmas?
I didn't do as well as some of you guys. I got a pair of cheapie ear-bud hearing enhancer/protectors (look like hearing aids) and a gun-safe dehumidifier that you plug in to recharge.

Hey Roester, I was a Pork Chop too. When were you in Chop school? I was there Feb '85 - Aug '85. Then, went to the USS Paul (FF1080) in Mayport. I was RIF'd two years later and spent a few years in the reserves before getting out totally.

FEG PA63 and R61
Norm, does your BR-61 have any markings on the side that identify the model? That is what stumped me. This gun had no "model" markings that I could find.

FEG PA63 and R61
I don't remember exactly what it looked like. I was at the gunshow. At first, I thought I had found a SMC-918 and I was overjoyed. However, as hard as I looked, I could find no markings on it that told me what it was. The reason I think it was an all-black PA-63 is that I pulled its magazine out and...

I've noticed some PA-63's come in factory all black as opposed to the common two-tone. Were these simply finished differently or is there some other difference? To me, they sure do look better than the two-tone.

Automatic, pump, or double? For an auto, I've heard great things about the Benelli's. For a pump, you can't go wrong with a Remington 870 Wingmaster (not the Express model - nothing really wrong with it - just not nearly the same quality gun as the Wingmaster).

How many have a CHL?
I got my Florida CCW about 6 months ago. I don't carry very often. I got it mainly to make traffic stops less complicated (I always have a pistol in the car) and so that I could avoid the waiting period if I find a sweet deal at an out-of-town gun store.
