p-64 firing pin
I just spoke to Harrington Products to arrange a visit to show them a firing pin. I was advised they have purchased a P-64 of their own for a sample and my visit was not necessary. I expressed a need for safeties as well as firing pins. They should be more than capable of producing these. The gentl...

Latest batch from J&G
Bought one from J&G right before Christmas (paid the handpick fee and asked for the best they had), what I received was OK externally, internals showed a lot of wear (see link below) http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3074 Sent it back before new years. I'd say they are at the bot...

Just buy their ammo once and shoot your own. Every time you come back show them their ammo container full of their ammo then go in and shoot your own. You'll be out $25 once.

That's a keeper AKSrule. I have carried many guns and find the P64 to be my absolute favorite IWB carry gun.

Ouch, we really need to find a parts source for these puppies. My P64 is my all-tim favorite CCW piece.

ammo for home protection?
+1 on the PowrBall ammo. The Powrball ammo is good stuff. I carry it in my 9mm's as well. Very good feeder even in guns that don't feed HPs well. The rounds are lighter but have extremely high velocity and excellent expansion. Per their Website # Velocity: 1250fps # Energy: 242ftlbs PS... I don't li...

I ordered another P64 today from J&G. I asked for one w/o a thumbrest so I hope that happens for me. Anyway, how have they been looking lately? I know they were in unissued condition a few months ago but am concerned they might be hitting the bottom of the barrel now. Anyone received one from th...

Great guns with an amazing barrel design, great trigger and crappy factory finish. Mine is a joy to shoot and shoots as accurately as any gun I own. She should serve you well.

Wow people really jack up the prices...
I would like to add that sometimes the Pawn/Gun shop guys just don't know how to price an item. I went to my local Pawn/Gun Shop this morning and spotted a new FEG PA-64 for $250. I looked at it for a while as the sales guy and i talked. I told him politely that the gun was nice and that I would buy...

p64 vs keltec pf9
jbabbler I agree that the P11 is reliable. I recently upgraded from 10 round mags to 12. It seems that you have, too, and are having success with them. Any comments? I have had problems with the P3AT. It seems to be easy to jam, needs cleaning a lot, and prone to light primer strikes. It seems to w...

p64 vs keltec pf9
For my two cents I agree the Kell Tek is just NOT a gun you want to trust you're life with the P-64 you could run over with a T60 and drop it into mud set it on fire and throw down a cliff pick it up and it will work flawlessly same for the CZ82. If you're looking for modern subcompact and reliable...

J&G is Killing Me
i have a p-83 special "eagle" edition, it's very much like a makarov re engineered for ease of manufacture and slightly improved ergonomics. fun gun and very reliable. has a chrome bore. MPI, I like the hammer on your P83 MUCH better than the one that they show on J&G. Very nice pisto...
