Intertec 9
That brings back memories. About 15 years ago a good friend of mine had one of those. It was fun to shoot and looked cool. As I recall it was'nt very accurate but also not designed to be.

I shot my P64's
The mag kept falling out in the 68 with the 18 lb spring after the last shot, that was the only misfeed I had. When I first got my P-64 it had a lighter hammer spring installed in it and the magazine would drop after the last round fired. I put a factory hammer spring in and it has not done it again...

Charlton Heston dies
He is one of the great ones. I have great respect for Charlton Heston. Nothing politically correct about that man. May he rest in peace.

For those of you that carry the P-64...
When the P-64 is not on my person, I take it out of the holster and put it in its gun case loaded 1 up /6 down safety off. The case is hidden in a place that is inconspicuous yet easily accessible to me. There are no children in the house, only my wife and me .

Drum magazine
A friend gave me this 40 round drum magazine for a 1911 pistol. The drum part is made of polymer and the upper is steel. It is basically a novelty but a cool item to have. I'm pretty sure it would print through my clothes if I tried to carry it. :) http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h181/redfestiva/1...

Honestly I doubt it. Like a cancer, if you allow it to take over it will be too late. How could we have possibly let this happen to our country? I wonder if there is any way that we may be able to reclaim it.

Range day
I've heard it said here before and I will repeat: It is awfully hard to get that first shot off accurately. Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated. gypsydavy Since I carry the P-64 with one in the chamber and safety off, I simpley cock the hammer back , aim and fire. First shot is as managab...

Hi-Point 9c
grayfox, They build those Hi-points not far from my home but the factory has no sales at that location. You have to go through a dealer to get one. I hear their customer service is great. A local gun shop has the 9mm on sale now for $139.00. I know Hi- Point's get a bad rap but I can't ever recal he...

They need to define "reasonable restrictions". This cannot be trusted to common sense. The DC mayor and police chief think that they already have reasonable restrictions, you can keep and bear arms as long as you have no hand guns and all long guns are disassembled, so what's the problem? :o

Do they thing they could just tell 90,000,000 American gun owners to put their guns on the curb to be picked up like raked leaves?

Another P64
rmeron,
I'd say you did good. I bought my P-64 (68 round hammer) in January 07 at a gun shop for $190 including tax. I'd say $10 more and 14 months later is what I'd expect to pay at least.I did'nt get it inspected by a gunsmith but I did clean it thoroughly.

Dobbs had a followup last night. If the story is as reported, plus what happened to those two Border Patrolman. My country is starting to scare me. The ATF is out of control. I agree totally. March 18th arguments start in the DC vs Heller supreme court case. I just hope that it has'nt be decided be...

What I learned about my p-64 today . . .
I indeed know that I can make a mistake and I try to be careful not to. For instance, I think it would be a mistake to carry my P-64 with the safety on so I am careful never to put it on.
