As others have said it cleans the inside of the case as well!

Re: the 41 Swiss Vetterli rifle
My brother was given one of these Vetterli rifles by a customer... we are planning to do the conversion and start loading for it early next year! Nice to know there are some folks here that already have experience!

I forgot about the trigger return spring thanks for the reminder!DocCasualty wrote:There is a poster here that installed a heavier weight trigger return spring to address just this issue. You might do a search or perhaps he'll weigh-in on your question.

Re: SA pull weight
Not really possible that I know of..
What weight spring did you install?
Trigger control is a learned skill as well so more practice may help too.

Re: Magazine Disassembly
Push the pin in.. (it is actually the end of the mag spring) and then slide the base plate off. Do this carefully or you will have parts flying every which way!

Yeah that is the problem I have with the p64 even with light loads and a #20 recoil spring the brass goes supersonic and is a pain to find!

Re: New member with question
Acetone and Xylene could damage the grips as well... I just use mineral spirits and a soft brush. Then blow it all dry with compressed air and follow your standard cleaning procedure.
