Re: P-64 Not Fully Chambering Rounds
I used a pencil eraser wrapped with 3000 grit Emory paper and went slowly when polishing my chamber and feed ramp. It took me about 20 minutes to get it mirror bright. Again, check to be sure you have properly lubed the rails, look for any burrs on them or the slide that may be causing it to bind. T...

Re: P-64 Not Fully Chambering Rounds
If your guns have not been fired much, you may want to polish the feed ramp. Mine was doing this on occasion when I first got it. Polished the feed ramp and chamber a little and now it functions perfectly. You may also want to make sure the rails are lubed.

Re: Please Help -- 1 oz SA trigger pull
As for parts, my plan is to buy another P-64. Then I will have all of the spare parts I need.

Re: Please Help -- 1 oz SA trigger pull
The notch that matters the most is the bottom one. The top is the half-cocked position. I just noticed it looks a little like that slot was not cut completely to the end. I think it would be okay to square that one up since the half-cocked position is not critical to the firing of the gun. The botto...

Re: Hammer binding caused Polish Iron grips?
Make sure that you have the grip installed properly. I had a similar issue after I cleaned my P-64. Took the grip off and reinstalled it and the problem was gone.

Re: Please Help -- 1 oz SA trigger pull
I would suggest taking a good look at both the hammer and sear to be sure that you have positive engagement. From what you have posted, it sounds like the angles in your P-64 are producing negative engagement. This will give you a hair trigger that may not reset or result in multiple rounds being fi...

Re: Finally took the P64 to the range
I sorted my cases the other day and the Red Army Elite cases all appear to be fine. The PRVI Partizan cases are badly bulged at the base. Not sure why I didn't notice it sooner.

Re: P64 Magazines in Stock???
I got the replacement floor plate a few days after talking to SOG and took my daughter to the range last weekend so I go to test the new mags. I am very pleased.

Re: Finally took the P64 to the range
I am getting ready to start reloading some of my Red Army Elite and Privi Partizan brass. Just got my dies and bullets. I will probably go over to my dad's next weekend to use his equipment. All of it has been fired in my P-64 and I have not noticed any cases that are bulged. I am sure that if there...

Re: Tula Ammo
Since the P-64 was designed to run on commie ammo, I suspect there is another issue. Like Ketchman said, make sure you have thoroughly cleaned all of the cosmoline from the weapon. You may also want to polish the feed ramp. I did mine before ever taking it to the range and it seems to eat anything I...

Re: P64 Magazines in Stock???
Received mine today. Both had numbers etched on them and one had a broken floor plate. I called Lisa at SOG and they are sending out another floor plate today. Very happy with the customer service!
One mag is pre-72 and one is post-72 and both are in very good condition.

Re: P64 Magazines in Stock???
Thanks for the heads up. I just received confirmation on my order for 2. Almost ordered some aftermarket mags, but I am glad I waited.
