Re: Heads Up - J&G Sales Taking Pre-Orders
Got it yesterday. I didn’t see any way to specify ‘hand select’ when I pre-ordered it, but it looked pretty good regardless. Just a little holster wear near the muzzle. I wiped it down with alcohol and rubbed a little cold bluing onto the bare spots, and it looks a lot better. Bore looks minty. I’ll...

Re: The latest addition....
Very Nice. The PA63 was my first 9x18 and is still one of my favorites. Mine was new (un-fired). After Wolf spring addition, the double action is great. Where did you buy it? I noticed that Fin Feather and Fur down in Ashland, OH were advertising them recently. I picked up mine 3 yrs ago at a local...

Re: The latest addition....
Thanks! I don't see them very often, but the ones I've seen all look unissued. Not sure if they really never were issued, or if they were refurbished, or specifically built for export, or what. Maybe someone knows something about the history of these guns? I didn't care for the two-tone look initial...

My new (to me) PA-63
This is actually my second one. They both look brand spanking new.

Re: Prosepective P64 owner
That's a fair price. I'd do it!
Course if it is an actual Polish 'Makarov', then that's a fantastic price, as it might be the only one in existence!

Re: P 1964
I'm not sure anyone is offering them right now - at least SOG and J&G aren't, last time I checked. If you do manage to find someone with P-64s, I guess it wouldn't hurt to call and ask. Usually for 'hand select', they'll grab a few at random and just pick the best one out of that group. Don't kn...

I knew they were accurate, but that's just wrong!
That was the Brown Bear stuff too. I find they'll shoot even better with the Winchester Metric ammo...when I can find it.

So Sunday, a buddy of mine and I went to the range. I had my 'newest' P-64 and my brand new Remington R1 with a stainless steel match barrel. Guess which gun out shot the other at 25 yards? I'm not sure if I should be really pleased with the P-64, or really disappointed with the .45? Don't get me wr...

Re: New (to me) Yugoslavian Tokarev
Yeah, the sights do sort of suck. Still, with the longer grip and the more ergonomic safety, the Yugoslavian Tok has instantly become my favorite out of the three that I own. Disassembly is much easier too, which has always been one of my gripes about the original design. The only thing I don’t like...

New (to me) Yugoslavian Tokarev
Maybe not 'new', but gently used anyway
Reasonably accurate at 25 yards
