Re: What magazine did I buy?
New aftermarket and use oem mags are about $25, this isn't worth fiddling with.

Re: Slide Sticks at ALMOST Full-Open
I have another theory...is it possible recoil is causing the trigger guard to bump into your fingers? If you let the muzzle flip too much it could cause the guard to hit your fingers and pull the slide release open. This, could allow the slide to slip off the rails then slam back into the frame, wed...

Re: Slide Sticks at ALMOST Full-Open
Could be a slightly bent disconnector getting wedged, or possibly magazine related (once last round is spent it's supposed to hold the chamber open).

Re: Double action mode, Polishiron grip issues
It should function the same with or without grips installed. I'm not sure what exactly you think the grips should be doing?

Re: ...P64 spare mags available...
http://www.keepshooting.com/polish-p64-magazine.html They are available here with reasonable shipping These are NOT original mags, they are reproductions, and the ones I bought a couple of years ago from them are of inferior quality to the originals. Don't waste your money, unless you are looking f...

Re: P64 shooting today
"unreasonable difficult full disassembly and reassembly" Who cares about full disassembly? Does anybody ever really do that, except to fix a problem? That's like complaining disassembling and reassembling the transmission in you car requires tools. Big whoop, the oil changes are easy.

Re: Another PI Grip!
They're not pictures of people...you can hold a firearm upside down in your hand, no?
I thought they were deliberately done that way to show the bottom of the grip, particularly the release lever area.

Re: Better Marksmen with the P64
Getting all 6 rounds within the "10" ring at 50 yards is a cakewalk. It's accurate largely because the barrel is fixed to the frame, unlike most other semi-autos (it's a blow-back, as opposed to the Browning-style locking cam action used on most semi-autos). That makes the repeatability of...

Re: Heavy recoil
I use 9x18. Sent from my E6782 using Tapatalk This is either a smartass answer, or you don't even know what ammo you use. The amount of actual recoil depends a lot on the mass of the bullet and the powder charge. That's why they make different recoil springs...so you can match the kinetic energy ab...

Re: Heavy recoil
Lot of talk about recoil with this weapon. I'm not feeling it. There is a fundamental called recoil management. Doesn't require an over-molded grip. Sent from my E6782 using Tapatalk ...and oh mighty wise one, pray tell, which ammo doth thou use to spare thy delicate hands from this mythical beast ...

Re: Did I get unlucky with buying this P64?
It seems like many if not most gun shops are run by jackwads that leap at any opportunity to screw someone out of a few measly bucks. It's rare to find one that actually tries to do what's best by the customer.

Seems like the seller should be picking up the entire tab. They misrepresented the product and sent you junk.
