Anyway,He told me what you just stated. You can put a rifle,or pistol on gunbroker,AuctionArms etc.,as long as it ships to an FFL....

recoil spring mod-point me in the direction
OK,thanks Norm,
I guess,First I'll take a look at the stock spring. Then try the 22# spring as it came from Wolff's,and if I have any problems, then I guess its time to get the grinder out.
thanks,
Don

Hi Norm,
Thanks for the info. So,it IS necessary to grind both ends of the recoil spring flat?-I have to take a look at the original, and try to dupicate whatever shape that one has.
Maybe a dumb question but Why grind the ends at all?

Hi all, I heard the recoil spring mod has been covered a few times here, but I can't find it. Can someone please direct me to the previous posts on having to grind down the ends of the spring? I've decided to go with the 22# recoil spring, and a 20# hammer spring.Think I know what to do with the hamme...

My bloody trigger finger
The Wolf ammo I had several misfires with was in a black box of 50 rds.9mm Makarov,100 gr. steel case. It wasnt the "Military classic" ammo
I'm glad I only bought 2 boxes.Next time I go to the range I'll burn that up first. Didn't have any misfires with 3 other brands of ammo.

To who asked how I screwed up my finger..... Know,I think it was just from shootinh double action,I bet mine's like 50+ pounds. Its right below the first finger joint line, anddown alittle, not in middle of finger. I hear about switching springs out,but who knows how it would work then. I want a CZ-52...

I could be wrong, but I think the hammer change, and some other minor trigger changes started in the year of our Lord,1973.

:-/ Hi All, I finally took my 1971 P-64 to the range after purchasing it on GunBroker in Jan. 2007. That little POS really tore my trigger finger up! Maybe I'm a big guy who shouldnt be using such a small gun. I'm 6'5" 290#(gained 50# after I quit smoking) anyway, like I was saying this little g...
