Backup?
Do any of you guys carry a backup? I usually carry my P-64 with heavier clothing and my Kel-Tec P-32 in my pocket with lighter clothing. I'm considering carrying my Kel-Tec on my ankle from now on, just as a backup, but I'm not quite sure I need a backup. Who here carries a backup to their primary c...

Re: Trip to the range today
I bought the gun as a pocket carry. I have been carrying my P64 to work, but it's heavy and bulky for being a cashier at a grocery store. The Kel-Tec fits great in my pocket, but I don't think I could hit something accurately more than 7 yards away. I also wanted a small/light pocket pistol for my n...

Trip to the range today
Hi guys, I got back from the range a little earlier today. I got a Kel-tec P32 a while ago, but I had my first chance to shoot it. I must say it went bang every time I fired it using Fiocchi FMJ. No problems at all. I was shooting it at about 12 yards, and out of a clip of 6, only one round hit the ...

Re: FMJ vs JHP
I always carry the HP's in my P64. I do carry 3 extra mags. The first two have more HP's and the last one has FMJ. The problem w/ FMJ is the ricochet issue. Should you miss your targed, the FMJ is more likely to ricochet and in a situation with innocent bystanders, could present a problem. The HP's...

They also have regular boxes of brass plated Barnaul. I've never shot it, but it looks a bit more appealing than Brown bear lacquer coated casings.

Re: Best IWB
I am interested in getting an IWB holster from Dic but I guess the website is under maintenance at the moment. Is there a tuckable IWB option for the P-64 available? I got a IWB from Don Hume for the PPK. It's really good quality and comfortable. I was going to get a dickfunk holster, but it was a ...

Re: My new .32
Not bad at all. I love the grips. What ammo do you shoot out of it. I carry and practice with Fiocchi FMJ out of my P32.

FMJ vs JHP
I posted this same topic over at gunboards, but I thought I'd ask over at P64 too! I've been reading a lot elsewhere about how some people won't carry hollow point ammo in their 9x18 because of lack of penetration. Am I wasting money on these Silver Bear JHP and should I just stick with FMJ for carr...

Re: Bore Snake for 9 x 18 P64
Never used a bore snake in anything but a shotgun, but I suspect a regular 9mm luger bore snake would work fine. To clean my P64, I just run a patch of Hoppe's, then run a brush through, followed by a dry patch. Finally, a patch (or until clean) of oil. Cleaning around the breech face and the extrac...

Re: Favorite/worst 9x18 ammo
What do you guys carry and what do you practice with? I carry Silver Bear JHP and practice with Brown Bear FMJ and Silver Bear JHP. I haven't shot a lot of Silver Bear, but does it have the same horrible smell as Brown Bear? I hope that smell isn't bad for my gun :-/

Re: Favorite/worst 9x18 ammo
I get the same weird smell with Brown Bear. Not only does it smell, but it's really dirty. Has anyone had any issues with shooting Brown/Silver Bear ammo? I hope the fried electronic smell isn't bad for my gun.

Re: CZ-82 premature slide lock
I've got the same problem. I fired two magazines, no problem. The next magazine, the slide locked back with a round still in the clip. I was thinking it was a magazine problem, but it happens on both magazines.

Re: Help me decide!
If you plan on carrying the pistol, I'd get a CZ-82 from AIM for $219 with free shipping. I must admit that the Maks are a bit more collectible, but you will be paying at least $300 for one in good condition. I'd go for the CZ-82. More magazine capacity, better trigger pull, and polygonal rifling. I...

Re: Buffalo Wild Wings bans CC
I work at Kroger and we don't have signs posted banning concealed carry. I'm not sure if employees are allowed to CC, but I do it anyways, especially since I usually work nights, sometimes by myself. In the event that the store is held up, we are told to just give them the money. I really don't car...

Re: Serious question about CZ-82
How do you guys carry your CZ-82. I usually carry with a round in the tube, but uncocked. I've never been a fan of cocked and locked (in a IWB atleast).
