who are you?

"Sounds like something all young ladies should be out learning." I took my daughter (16) to the range yesterday. She was shooting her CZ-82. We were shooting 8" targets with about a 3 or 4" 10 ring at 7 yards. 10 shots, she shot a 100-8X. A mother and daughter outside the glass ...

I normally hate to acknowledge my ignorance publicly, but what's a Red Devil avatar?

Barak Obama's add

I'm pretty sure Bobtx is right - if you accept ads from Proboards, you don't get to pick the ads. It's just whoever paid for them.

Now... I... feel... strangely... compelled... to... vote... for...

The warning on the bottom (Achtung, vor nichtberechtigten, etc) is German for (basically) "Store safely away from children and those not authorized to use this stuff."

I'd believe the German market theory, too.

New M44 project gun

That's a beautiful rifle. You might check the page on 7.62x54r.net that discusses the rarity of each model before you do much irreparable modification.

Did the slip on recoil pad come with it? Does anyone know where to get one of those? My shoulder starts getting tired after about 30 rounds.

3 Things I never leave the house without

How does that compare with this one from Makarov.com?

http://makarov.com/iwb/index.html

I have the standard one, and it seems to work quite well. I think it may, just may, be working the finish a bit, but I figure that gives character to a carry piece.

P-64 Training Pistol

Makes me think I could take a real P-64 and turn it into a trainer for much less money.

I see [image] where I hoped to see a photo of your modified holster. Could you post a picture?

Red Storm Holsters Closed for a while

That's a bad deal.

Buying an Ishi RedStorm holster was on my eventual to-do list.

Any provisions for a tip jar in the mean time? I'd probably tip the equivalent of a holster to help out.

I stored that one in my auctions to think about. Money is always an issue, though.

Norm,

My uneducated eye can't see much difference between those two pistols. It looks like the extractor is slightly different.

What types of changes did they make from one pistol to the next?

Where do you find them?

A different holster

Somebody in another thread said the P232 holsters fit well. No experience myself though.
