Old thread, I know. Got here because my P-64 experienced a similar problem today after about 50 rounds of Fiocchi ammo. Slide was locked back tight, so tight it felt like it was welded open. Like zark said, when I got it home I could see that the slide stop had somehow gotten lodged on the bolt face...
