Re: Trigger reset
The problem is likely that the grip is rubbing on the trigger bar and keeping it from moving freely into position. First, check to make sure your grip is installed properly. Look inside the magwell to check the fit. Second, if the grip is installed properly, remove it and check the trigger bar. One...

Trigger reset
Just came back from shooting my '75 gun at the range. I discovered that it has a strange quirk. Occasionally when you put the gun in battery to fire single action and go to pull the trigger the sear sticks. You can pull the trigger all the way back but it will not trip the sear and fire the the gun,...

Re: Blueing
If your looking to bring the finish back to original, pay someone who knows how to do a good job to do it as the original finish on these was quite good. Personally, I would leave as is, they don't look abused at all, more like veterans with service rockers to the elbows and a locker full of storie...

Re: New P-64 owner from Classic
Picky, picky, picky. As far as I am concerned, they can pick through the next 100. I will not be purchasing from CLASSIC again :!: Granpooba, Without proof it's easy throw stones.. If I ordered something and I got a turd I'd get a hold of Classic and give them an opportunity to make good. If...

Blueing
Any ideas what method the Poles used to blue the P-64? My '75 has a large bright spot on the left hand muzzle end of the slide and I'm tempted to have the slide re-blued or even try doing it myself..

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!
Thank you. I saw that post. I was just curious about the date cut off. Some say 1970, others say 1974. Anyway, how much of a modification are we talking? How many millimeters were removed? And in what places? I pretty much did it by trial and error and used the mag that came with the gun as a model...

United Defense Mags.
Ordered up one more and received it Friday 1/11 ; however, I didn't get around to testing it until last night. I thought I would have to modify it like the first one I bought. Quite strangely, it went into my '68 gun without modification! Dimension-ally it's identical to the first one before modific...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!
Well, I am still loving my P64. Attached is my Polish gal dressed in her Marschal grips -my apologies if the picture is poor... I had to compress it a fair amount and yes, I blurred out the serial number. The grips truly are amazing, and given he had them ready for shipment when I purchased, they o...

+1 on what Curly said. They are not gonna pick through the whole crate to find the best one, just the next 5. Picky, picky, picky. As far as I am concerned, they can pick through the next 100. Wolf recoil, and firing pin springs
I noticed that Wolf springs sells an extra power firing pin spring along with the upgraded recoil spring. Is it really necessary to change out the firing pin spring when you upgrade the recoil spring? None of the YouTube videos regarding upgrading the recoil spring on the P-64 made mention of this. ...

Re: P64 Slides
Thank you for the welcome. I am actually looking for two slides. I won a couple of stripped frames on Gunbroker. I was hoping to maybe put them together. Gunbroker has a number of parts, not sure if they have everything. I need to print off the parts list that can be found on this site. It might be...
