I have used Tula and Red Army and have the same problem with both. I was wondering why you never seem to hear of these problems with the Makarov? I have polished them, but I did it by hand with a 3000 grit pad. The fixed barrel makes it tough to polish. Maybe a dremel tool with a polishing bit would make the job easier.

I have 2 of them and they both have the same problem. One is a 69 model and the other is a 70. I have cleaned them well, although I have not removed the firing pin or extractor on either. I did replace the main springs with the lighter wolff springs to lighten the DA trigger pull.

P-64 Not Fully Chambering Rounds
My P-64 does not always chamber every round. After firing a couple of rounds the next round will slide into the chamber, but not fully until I give a little assistance. Do I need a stronger recoil spring?
