Re: Slide compatibility from pistol to pistol

Locking forceps and dental picks are really helpful for working on a P-64. I grabbed a cut-a-way from Centerfire Systems some time back with the idea that having it gave me a ready supply of spare parts should the need arise. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/mqfaoyh17lnbvipek48fs/2019-12-06-17.30.45.j...

Re: Different length firing pins?

I have found that it is best to keep parts marked with what gun they belong to. Many firearms have firing pins that are fitted to the slide and will not always interchange with another of the same make and model.

Not sure about the P-64s.

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO

Welcome. I like what you did with the grips.

Hasn't been much activity on these forums in quite a while. I still check them regularly, though.

Re: 9 x 18 Makarov ammo for sale

The P-64 Forums have not been very busy over the last couple of years.

It still cannot hurt to post what you have available.

Hadn't heard about the ammo limit before. Marylandistan is terrible, but still not as bad a Commiefornia.

Re: Rounds not going fully into battery

I primarily shoot my handloads. Most of the factory ammo in my stash is Red Army Elite because the brass is great for reloading. Some other brass gets a bulge because part of the case is not well supported in the P-64 chamber. The rim is, but the case side is not, just above the rim. Kinda like some...

Re: Rounds not going fully into battery

Welcome Bob. First, let me say that these little guns are not typically problematic. Since all of your P-64s are experiencing the same problem, I will assume you are using the same ammo in all three. Only Fiocchi was mentioned in your post. I suggest you look more at your ammo as the problem, and no...

Re: P-64 Range Time

I took mine out, today. The trigger still goes dead from time to time (the trigger bar does not lift or gets hung up). This is still the centerfire handgun I can shoot most accurately by far. I love this little guy. Factory grips or aftermarket? Either way, check for the grip contacting the trigger...

Not really any input except I am happy you got it figured out. My only SKS is Chinese with the National Security Forces markings.

Re: P-64 Range Time

I take my P-64 to the range and carry it. Hornady makes defensive ammo for 9x18 and there are a lot of vendors that make reloading components for the caliber. It carries easily and is VERY ACCURATE! Great gun. Walter I too, carry a P-64 occasionally and keep it loaded with Hornady Critical Defense....

Re: P-64 Range Time

Polymer is actually very stiff and strong although not impervious to chemicals or heat. Use the right lubricants and it will not deteriorate. After researching and inspecting my G-43 clone, the Glock OEM connector seemed to be the center of the problem. Never had an issue with OEM parts on any of my...

P-64 Range Time

It has been too quiet in here for too long so I decided to break the silence. Lately, I have been spending time on a G-43 clone build using a Polymer80 PF9SS frame. It has been giving me some difficulty when shooting. The gun is accurate, but has such a wall when I pull the trigger, that I cannot ho...

Re: Looks like the forum is fixed

I used the "Contact us" button to inquire about the problem, but heard nothing back. Based upon past experience with running a forum, I understand that sometimes the software can develop issues, and updates do not always go as planned. Would be nice to see a post about what kept it down fo...

Re: Magazine getting deformed

Just took my "Szkolna" marked P-64 apart and looked at it carefully. There should be nothing impacting the magazine from behind. Remove the slide and look through the mag well for any burrs or debris that may be damaging the magazine. The gun metal is harder than the magazine metal. Since ...
