I kind of agree with Robhic, a less pronounced tail would make it more acceptable to me. But I like the overall concept.

Re: Grips4you.net
I've had a set of these grips on my P-64 for 6 months or so and am very pleased. The Marschall grips are very good looking but I couldn't wait. I'm well pleased. Do they absorb recoil better than the factory grips? Do you remember how long it was for them to send them to you? Thanks for the info :h...

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
Just don't take a chance on Classics recent batch of Finnish M38 Mosins they bought from Pat Burns. A lot of unhappy campers getting cracked stocks and having to eat shipping and FFl fees to send them back and a lot of them were paid the hand pick price. Thanks for the heads up. It seems like buyin...

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
Well, I got a call today from my FFL dealer, she said my gun was in. Picked it up a few hours ago. It is in much better condition than the original one I had received, which was a 1968 gun. This one is dated 1973. I would rate this one as very good to excellent condition. Classic Firearms went out o...

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
lucky, I was flat out refused a return by Classic :| That's too bad, how long after receiving the gun did you wait before informing them that the gun was unacceptable? At first they gave me the run around about inspecting and accepting gun at my FFL dealer. Later, when they asked me "Hey Dale,...

Has anyone tried these grips yet? I looked at them on grips4you.net They are pricey, but they sure look nice.

Don Hume JIT-18 slide holster
Thought I would let you know about this holster for the P-64. It was listed on Amazon for "PPk/s". I thought I would give it a try, and am glad I did. It fits the P-64 like a glove, it rides high on your hip and conceals well, mine is a Burgundy color, which I really like, I think they mak...

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
My problem is that I am not recoil sensitive. I put on the heavy recoil spring, and really did not notice a difference! Who knows! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk I am like you, recoil doesn't bother me. Why I put heavier recoil springs in guns is two fold. 1. Save wear and tear on gun. 2. Reduc...

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
Probably personal preference. The 22 pound Recoil Spring is the heaviest they offer. The same that I use. It works well. Although others don't seem to notice it some of us feel that it does help the stiff/snappy recoil. That's interesting and I'll tell you why. My youngest grandson is recoil-sensit...

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
Miracles still happen! Classic Firearms has sent me a return priority mail label, and a RMA letter to return the P64.
Makes me feel better about Classic Firearms.
Thought you guys would like to know.

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
Well guys, I wimped out. I ordered another p64 today from AIM surplus. My reasoning is that I am terrible mechanically, but also wanted to get another P64 anyway, and I have no idea how long the prices are going to remain low. I will never order from Classic Firearms again, sending a defective firea...

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
Thanks to all who replied, I will try to do the job myself, I am going to order some new Wolff springs for it. Might as well tune the old gal up right when I dig into her.
Any recommendations for best recoil spring?

Re: Trigger not wanting to engage
Weasel thank you for your reply, in the pictures it shows a slide stop spring, the slide stop works just fine. Is it necessary to change both springs to get the trigger spring to work correctly?
Is there a video some where showing how to replace the trigger spring?
Thanks,
Dale
