Well, changed out the recoil spring for a 22 lb Wolff. Mainspring for an 18 lb. Formed cases from 9x19 to 9x18. Loaded Missouri powder coated bullets over 3.5 gr HP-38. To the range.
Fired 50 rds. Recoil was better, but that DA trigger pull is still heavy. No malfunctions. I like this gun.

Re: powder coating lead bullets
I just ordered 500 from http://www.missouribullet.com. Cost 49.50 with shipping. Will be my first experience with powder coated bullets. I am a caster. If these work, I'll try making my own.

I gave the gun an ultrasonic cleaning, lubed, and re-assembled. That DA trigger is still awful. I will order a Wolff 18 Lb hammer spring for sure!

Well, just had to have a P64. I took a ride over to J&G in Prescott this morning and asked to see a Hand Select P64 at $249.95. They brought out 2. Both guns are CAI Imports. First was a 1970, second was a 1977. Both were perfect. I bought the 1970. Also bought an extra magazine and a box of Bro...
