Re: **Handmade IWB Holsters**
Just a quick post to say this month marks Year 3 of having my US Gun Leather IWB holster for the P-64. Still wear it for CC most work days. Retention is still good (still passes the "hold upside down, shake a little" test), with little wear visible on the holster minus some minor scratches...

Re: **Handmade IWB Holsters**
Someone on the Utah Concealed Carry forum asked about my holster when I mentioned it a thread, which reminded me of the fact that I've had this lil' bugger for two years now. This very month, no less. So, time for a quick review at the two year mark. There's not too much to say, other than to note t...

Re: the 41 Swiss Vetterli rifle
Thanks for the post Norm. I let a Vetterli slip by earlier this year, due to ammo and firing pin concerns (the only rim-to-center-fire conversion I'd seen involved a lot of equipment I don't have access to). I have my eye on a different one now (a 78/81), and this post has pretty much helped me deci...

Re: I wnet to a local gun show yesterday
Gun shows are still worth going to here, because I never know what the private sellers are going to show up with. There are plenty of 'regulars' of course (and I think some are starting to remember me, as they're starting to show me items that aren't out on the regular table), but some times I just ...

Re: P83 Round hammer replacement for Spur Hammer. Any Inter
Well, I think a round hammer would mean more to me if I were looking to CC the P-83 regularly. I carry at a university (I love Utah for that), so the smaller size of the P-64 wins out over the additional 2 rounds the P-83 could give me for daily CC. My P-83 is pretty much a range gun, with occasiona...

Re: problems with Sellier & Bellot ammo
was there a lot number. the company might not do anything(hopefully wrong) but they might appreciate the knowledge of a bad run.possibly a call back... I'd be curious about the Lot # as well. As I have a decent amount of S&B ammo, it would be interesting to double check Q&A of like/close Lo...

What's the thickness on grips like this? I wonder what it'd take to get my hands on some nice Polish coins for something like this...

PM holster
Since it isn't for the P-64, I thought I'd post here. Moderate if necessary though... Saw a link to these on my local CC/OC forum, and thought I'd post here: http://www.efa-2004.com/products/2K-en.php A holster with a push-through action to free it from the holster and load the chamber/cock the hamm...

Re: Cracked Marschal Grips
While not a major crack, I've had my walnut grip break a corner over the magazine extension. I've had these grips and have been carrying pretty much daily for a little over a year now, and this is on the "outside" according to how I carry. I chalk this up to "user wear and tear,"...

Re: Argentine FM 90 Hi-Power
Picked mine up from the local FFL today, need to take her out on the range to see how well she performs. Anyone try different grips on these yet? It looks like the rubber won't last too much longer on my right-hand panel. I imagine there's a good change normal FN High Power grips will work on these?...

Glad I live in Utah. Law here is, so long as you aren't intoxicated, it doesn't matter what dining/drinking establishment you're in.
Utah, where liquor laws are still more complex than firearm laws...

Re: comparison of pa-63 and cz-82?
I like the PA-63 fairly well, and of my 9x18mm's, my brother and father (who hadn't shot any 9x18mm before) were both more accurate and generally impressed with the PA-63 over any other of my 9x18mm's. Sadly, neither wanted to man up and try out the P-64. I have to admit, with the alloy frame...

Re: TZ 75
I've come across Tangfolio's at gun shows before. Yeah, they're basically CZ clones, but the overall fit and finish on samples I've handled have been good (haven't bought one myself yet, my "gunshow money" is usually reserved for surplus, preferably from private sellers). That a new or use...
