MOST auto pistol failures are due to magazine problems. They are the "heart" of your pistol. Used mags that come with a surplus weapon are always a question mark. Might be damaged, bent lips, weak springs, victim of home-gunsmith, etc. Brand new, made by Walther, P38/P1 mags are common at ...

Thanks to all for the info. I guess my trigger is normal. Sure is a nice pistol. Good price too. Maybe a guy would be wise to get several before they go "out of sight" as so many others have. Only rough spot on mine was a buggered up grip screw. I cleaned it up with a slot file, fine stone...
