P64 - Mag stuck / possible damage?

Haven't had a chance to shoot my P64 yet but yesterday I hit the range with it. Everything was going smooth until I handed my pop the P64 and a mag, being in his 60's with arthritis it can be a challenge for him to work the slide on any auto loader. I'm shooting a revolver next to him and all of a s...

Re: Bad buy?

Sounds to me like it's time to think about moving. :( Yep, I'm working on crossing the wall as soon as possible. Heck C&R licenses are not even recognized. Want a pre-1898 or a BP pistol/rifle? needs to be transferred and if a pistol (even a BP one) you need a permit. Of course, BB guns need to...

Re: Bad buy?

With the help of my credit card company I received a refund. Good news, the 2 P-64's from AIM came in and my FFL said they look to be in very good condition :D :D :D I haven't seen them in person yet, but knowing him he has a good eye for guns and is honest. NOW comes to long, long NJ pistol permit ...

Re: New member with a recent purchase

I'm happy with the condition but I will say one thing, people are right about that double action pull! It's worse than any other gun I own, by far. I don't think this gun has many rounds through it, the action is very tight and the safety is not the easiest to work. But that's what makes these gun ...

Re: Bad buy?

Thank you :) I will post pics when the AIM pistols come in. I'm fighting with Sovereign Guns to receive my refund, it seems they are trying to get around issuing the refund and now I have to fight with my credit card company to file a dispute and a charge back. Of course, the charge from the other c...

So about 22 cents a round, that's a nice deal I'll look it up.

I've never heard of Monarch brand :?: :?: :?:

Good stuff, never shot 9x18 made by them but thousands of rounds of 6.5 carcano, 7.65 mauser, 223, 308, etc. made by PPU.

Re: New member with a recent purchase

Amazing! That pistol looks to be in excellent condition :)

These P-64's are neat little pistols, I also ordered from AIM purchased 2 of them as with any surplus it seems to dry up.

Congrats on the purchase and thanks for the pics, nice looking pistol and great price from AIM :)

Re: Bad buy?

Classic had them on sale last week for $219 plus shipping of only $15. My gun came with two mags and in very good condition. So maybe you overpaid by $100 or such - big deal! Whats a hundred dollars today. You can't go to a ballgame and not blow a hundred dollars any more. Enjoy your gun and don't ...

Re: Bad buy?

I emailed them and told them to refund my money, I purchased 3 pistols from them (including a CZ-83) and all were misrepresented. They didn't ship them but still tried to pull the "20% restocking fee" on me, never told me about the restocking fee over the phone. When they sent me an email ...

Bad buy?

I purchased my first P64 off gunbroker, the slide has (what looks like) a LOT of wear and tear. Waiting on it to get to my FFL next week, but from the auction pics did I make a bad choice? will this thing KABOOM on me and will it last a few hundred rounds? I'm worried I bought a bomb lol and should ...
