Re: Strange new issue with safety reset

Ok I got it all figured out. I had just put on Russ's new V05 grip. There is a small tab of rubber in the back near the hammer that was causing the safety bar to hang up. I trimmed it down and it works great now. Thanks for the help Russ!

Re: Strange new issue with safety reset

Thanks for the replys. I'll probably pick up a couple springs in case I need it. I have some Wolff hammer springs on the way as well. When I was messing with it last night I didn't see how my safety mod could affect the trigger like that

Strange new issue with safety reset

So I recently took apart my pistol and snipped a little bit off the safety spring. It feels a lot easier to use now. But I've ran into an odd problem. When I switch my pistol from Safe to Fire, sometimes the trigger goes all the way back. Feeling exactly like it was on Safe. After that initial pull,...

It was VERY satisfying!

I just got back from the pistol range. My P64 was perfect. No problems of any kind, and surprisingly accurate for how short it is.

Re: New guy here

It was so frustrating. The small detent pin kept falling out. Thank God I have a magnet attached to a pole to scan the ground or it would have been lost.

Re: New guy here

Thank you for the info. I actually thought about trying to crimp the end of the spring onto the cylinder end of the pin. But I was finally able to get it all together again. But let me tell you, without that piece connected, it was a bear!!

Re: New guy here

Thanks for the holster input guys. Does anybody know what the deal is with my spring and detent for my safety that I talked about earlier? I'm wondering if I should try and source a new one?

Re: New guy here

So I completely disassembled my slide and I got it put back together. But something is weird. In all the videos I'm watching, the spring and detent plunger for the safety seem to be joined together. Mine isn't. I couldn't fit the pin into the spring even if I tried. I'm guessing since it's free floa...

Re: New guy here

I should have held onto the pencil when I pulled the trigger. Almost hit the ceiling. I can't wait to shoot it. What is a good holster for concealed carry with this?

Re: New guy here

Wow. This pistol I just received looks totally unissued. It's perfect! Is there like a place online with an instruction book for this? I am having a hard time moving the safety off of red

New guy here

Hello everyone. Just joined this forum, I'm expecting my P64 tomorrow or Monday. Bought one from Aim and a couple hundred rounds of silver bear. I've never owned a pistol like this before. Anything I should look for when I first get it? I want this to be my new concealed carry pistol. Lately I've be...
