Re: Broken trigger guard
Since my P64 is just a range toy now I don't use the safety anymore but, I will definitely start looking for a spare in a few pay checks.

Re: Broken trigger guard
The tracking number hasn't been updated since the 17th but, I spoke with my local postmaster and, was told that the post office never saw it. When the tracking number clearly listed it as accepted. It's been a few days since checking gun broker, I'll check there now.
Thank you
Thank you

Broken trigger guard
Hi everyone, It's been a while since I logged on. Unfortunately about a week and a half ago the trigger guard on my 1974 P64 broke on me. I found one listed on eBay the next day but, it seems that the USPS lost it in transit. I've been scouring the Internet since then looking for an alternate replac...

Re: P64 reliability after 2 1/2 years of use and carry
I also have 3 cheapo holsters that I don't remember the brands of for when the shoulder holster is a poor option. 1 pocket, 1 IWB and, 1 ankle (only used this one once. Ankle holsters suck)

Re: P64 reliability after 2 1/2 years of use and carry
I use a galco classic lite shoulder holster for the Walther PPK. It's the suede one that is not formed to the gun. To make it work you need to remove the tension adjuster, put your P64 into it with the thumb release closed and, your gun snug against it you then reinstall the tensioner where it fits....

Re: P64 reliability after 2 1/2 years of use and carry
At the range I use any that is available which includes, silver bear, brown bear, Winchester, Fiocci, ect. I also burn up some of my carry ammo when replacements are available so, I'm never without which is Hornady Critical Defense.

P64 reliability after 2 1/2 years of use and carry
Hi everyone, I just felt like sharing my experience with my 1974 P64. I purchased it 2 1/2 years ago. When I first recieved the gun it took about 6 hours or so to get all the cosmoline out of it. I replaced every spring in it with standard spec except the recoil spring (20#). I have since fired over...

Re: Sholder Holster w/thumb break
Well, I've tried two different pics so, if they are not working for you then nothing I have will. The instructions I gave are pretty simple to follow. There is only one piece on the holster other than the shoulder rig that is removable and, that is the tensioner. All I did was move the tensioner to ...

Re: Sholder Holster w/thumb break
The alteration I made is pretty simple. I just removed the tension adjuster and then placed my P64 in the holster with the thumb break closed then just reinstalled the tensioner where it fit.

Re: Sholder Holster w/thumb break
Here is a second effort to show the slight alteration for my holster. Hopefully it works this time.

Re: Trigger guard
Yep, that's it exactly. Yeah, the holster is the main thing that I am interested in upgrading. I have been thinking that a molded holster w/ the same style thumb break would be pretty sweet. Can I get you to shoot me a price?

Re: Trigger guard
Thank you for the info. Judging from the pictures that idea won't work so, I think I'll stick with the shoulder holster I have rather than up grading. I use the Galco classic lite for the PPK/S. after relocating the tension adjuster it's a perfect fit. I was going to upgrade to the Miami classic but...
