Re: Ammo
Have you polished the feed ramp? I did that after I cleaned the cosmo out. That was before I tried it out so I don't know how it would have performed without the polishing but I haven't had any problems with Brown Bear, Silver Bear or the PowrBall hollow points I use for carry (they have a polymer t...

Re: My '75 P-64
Thanks Curly, It has some holster wear but is in pretty good shape so I'll leave it. I just refinished a Chinese Mosin T-53 (that was in horrible shape). I guess I'm hooked on milsurps, ha. I got a pic to show in a previous post but this one just shows the link. I'll have to look up that sticky again.

Re: Problems wit a P64...1917...pink and black
I also modified my grasp when racking the slide on my P-64 & my CZ-82 after changing to heavier springs. Instead of gripping the back of the slide with my thumb & index fingers, I grip it in the middle with my hand side ways. Remember to let the slide go back on it's own, they feed better th...

Re: Ammo
I just tried out some B.B. in mine today, along with some S.B. (mixed), and they both performed perfectly. I wasn't aware there was a problem with B.B. but I'm glad mine seems to be immune.

Re: Safety question from a newbie
Welcome from the neighboring state of GA. I had the opposite problem (safety too stiff), and was careful not to go "too far", in loosening it up. Mine is now easier to disengage but has never engaged while shooting. Hope you get yours just right!

Second Range Report
The main reason I decided to do a second report was that I saw a post asking how many of us carry 5+1 or 6+1 and I realized I hadn't tried my P-64 in 6+1 mode yet. Well, it performed perfectly with three different magazines in 6+1 and once again I had no issues with feeding or ejection. I tried draw...

"Unless you are going to use your crank to load it with".
Curly, you may have found a use for that large size magloader after all. Then again, maybe not.

Re: magazine loader
I second that Curly. They're cheap, they work and they haven't broken yet. You get all three sizes but the large one is useless, unless you're Shaq.......

Re: On the magazine finger rest
I thought about rounding off the finger rest on one of my extra mags but the more I practiced drawing the more I realized it helps me grip the gun better on the way out of the holster.

Re: P64 Source....any out there?
I also got mine from Classic a couple of months ago ($229.00). Still a great price for this little beauty. Only wish I'd been this motivated a year ago................elections will do that to you though. You can order extra mags at $25 each (I did, separate order), not cheap but they're available. ...

1975 and like Fox84 I'm wishing I'd just bought two. Classic still has them, lol.
