Need to adjust my sight. It s pretty solid in there. I saw on another thread about heating it with a torch, but I don't quite understand it.

Hello there, looking to refinish my P64 using the Brownel's Aluma-Hyde II.
How hard is this type of thing? What needs to be done to prep the gun? Is it possible to refinish without removing every single part from the gun?

hasn't happened again, so maybe it popped out before I put the slide on that time, and I just didn't notice it.

Does the frame pin that holds in the trigger often jump out of place when working on this pistol? I had happened to pick mine up last night, and noticed the pin had popped out and rotated 180 degrees. I had to remove the slide, rotate the pin, and pop it back in.

A question. do I need to install that new firing pin spring that came with the new recoil spring? the gun seems to work fine without the new firing pin spring.

Just went to the range today, first time firing my new little Polish lover. 5 mags through it and oh my god. I love this friggen gun. Recoil is great, of course i have swapped the springs. I'm amazingly impressed with this firearm. Cheap and accurate as no other. just wish the ammo wasn't like liqui...
