Interesting in the variety of results here......I bought two, and neither fit the P-64 particularly well (very tight at the trigger guard--although they will stretch, most likely); however, both are next to perfect for my PA-63.

As with all surplus guns timing is everything....and when I looked at the prices you listed I surely flinched. Last year the last of the surplus Enfield's were selling at AIM, SOG, J&G, and elsewhere for $79 ! I checked some of these places online, and the only good buys listed were for cracked ...

The Walmart near me carries a small-sized slip-on pad by Pachmayer that fits the Mosin very well. Probably your Walmart does too. Costs $14.95.
