WHAT DO YOU GUYS MAKE OF THIS?
Ah ha! Thanks Norm. I knew it was an AP, I just never knew that FN had contracted to have their name on the slide (even though I've been to that Centerfire site a dozen times, dopey me). Still....the seller states its made in Belgium when it is not, and that it is a PA-63 which I knew it wasn't. It ...

I didnt think I could pass it up...
Nice P6! I recently bought one through AIM that was in similar condition. I actually just ordered it for a friend new to shooting (who paid, and did the FFL thing, all legal, for those you you concerned). Anyway what a great buy! No holster wear at all, an no (yes...none at all) visible wear on the ...

anyone ever shoot any of this?
I bought several hundred rounds each of Prvi , Igman , and Barnual at a gun show two years ago. The Privi was far superior in consistancy of grouping, and definitly the best of the the three. Shoots as good in my Mosins as Winchester SPs, which shoot darned well. BTW, as stated Wolf Gold is Prvi in ...

Also, I bought two from ebay for $9 and $13 from folks who bubba'd their rifles and had extra stocks laying around.

Pocket Carry Holster ?
I pocket carry almost exclusively. I have pretty much changed my wardrobe to include BDU's (various colors and styles), cargo pants, and loose fitting carpenter jeans. Most of the time I carry a small caliber pocket gun, but I also carry the P-64 in a Mika pocket holster--tucked in either my right f...

Cargo pants and pocket carry
I wear a lot of cargo pants, and I use a Mika holster http://www.frontiernet.net/~akim/pocket.htm that works pretty well, although if I were getting a new one I'd either get something with side wings or a very squared bottom to keep it in place better. I have a bunch of small pocket pistols and subs...

Barak Obama's add
Considering his gun politics I think it really stinks, myself.

surplus skeleton holsters
Interesting in the variety of results here......I bought two, and neither fit the P-64 particularly well (very tight at the trigger guard--although they will stretch, most likely); however, both are next to perfect for my PA-63.

Enfield Rifles: Your Opinions Please
As with all surplus guns timing is everything....and when I looked at the prices you listed I surely flinched. Last year the last of the surplus Enfield's were selling at AIM, SOG, J&G, and elsewhere for $79 ! I checked some of these places online, and the only good buys listed were for cracked ...

New M44 project gun
The Walmart near me carries a small-sized slip-on pad by Pachmayer that fits the Mosin very well. Probably your Walmart does too. Costs $14.95.

New M44 project gun
Spyguy, it's your rifle to do with as you please. However, before you hack up your beautiful rifle consider this: the auction sites are full of 'sporterized" Mosin Nagants that never actually truned into what their owners wanted. Mosins are excellent rifles. I have owned 10 at various times, an...

FEG PA63 and R61
Taught me never use a gun for carry that has not been fired before, and has blown away any and all oil that might be in the barrel. Thanks for the advice blindog, but my squib happened under different circumstances. I had already shot 50+ rounds of Wolf 105 grain ammo and was tearing through a new ...

FEG PA63 and R61
I've noticed some PA-63's come in factory all black as opposed to the common two-tone. Hi...been a member for awhile, although I mostly just lurk from time to time. I have one of those all black PA-63's. I bought it two years ago on gunbroker from a guy who claimed to have had it for several years....
