Thanks for all the posts. Now that I think about it some more, I guess I was comparing it to the decocker on my Walther P1, which really "snaps" between the two positions.

So it sounds like this is normal.

My decocker lever almost feels like there is an intermediate position in the middle when I push it down. Its definitely not just "up" or "down". Any one else notice this?

I didn't have a problem putting the slide on. I was questioning the handles on the gun. On the right side hand grip, at the top and towards the barrel, there is a little notch cut out. My finger got pinched in there when I put the slide on. About a 1/2 laceration, 5mm deep, bled like a stuck pig. Th...

Just got my 64 and sliced my finger open on that notch on the right hand guard notch at the top, putting the slide back on the frame.

Has this happened to anyone else, or did I get a shitty hand guard?

I guess I baptized my new gun in blood!
