Re: Used my CZ 82 shoulder holster

I'm planning to order some CZ82 parts from CZ-USA and I would consider adding the shoulder holster to the package, but before making a phone call, I would like to see a photo of the holster being worn with handgun. Any volunteers with camera.....? Here is a example from the cz forum site : http://w...

Re: Another way the P-64 can discharge w/o pulling the trigg

Thanks for letting us know. Someone recently posted a incident where they dropped theirs on the floor and it discharged going into the ceiling just missing their head. With the safety off nothing is blocking the firing pin. A drop, hit or snag to the hammer may be enough to cause the firing pin to h...

Re: Holsters for P64 that work for me

Open carry can be a disadvantage for you as well. The BG may not move on and take you out first as mentioned. Not drawing attention to myself is an advantage in case things go terribly wrong.

I'm sure you have thought out all of your options, all the best..

Re: Concealed Carry

I'm carrying mine right now in a kangaroo carry air marshal 2. Not bad and good for just a shirt. If I enter a danger zone I'll unbutton my middle button. Kinda know how a woman fells wearing a bra. It's been a few months now and my wife don't know. She has hugged and touched me many times and hasn'...

Re: New P-64 Owner

Got both of mine from AIM as well. Got me a air marshal 2 from kangaroo carry loaded with silver bear. IMO it's better than a PPK and you can't beat the price. Look at 9x18 silver bear test on you tube. Wouldn't want to be that wet phone book... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LY5IFZib9g http://www....

Your right, the safety needs protection as well as the firing pin...

Re: Received my 2nd P64 today from AIM

My Wolff 17 lb. springs came in today. Installed them pretty easy. They checked out real sweet with silver bear. My other P64 is 1974 production. Even though they are 2 years apart they look like twins. The 76 has a smoother action and safety. Luv them both... BTW, got a kangaroo carry air marshal 2...

Re: Received my 2nd P64 today from AIM

Sarge, reminds me of the aristocratic lady that came in Home Depot some years back. Pointed at me and speaking to her daughter, Go over there and ask that little man, he will help you. I looked around being 6ft and 200lbs to see who she was pointing at. It was me..lol..

Received my 2nd P64 today from AIM

Got a 1976 production with minor wear at muzzle. Took off the slide and very clean, light grease. Looks like new inside, don't look like it's been fired. Safety very smooth and positive click. DA probably 20+lbs and SA very nice. Came with black service holster good shape and extra mag with non matc...

Re: Sometimes I just love "experts"/authority figures.

These new Hornady Critical Defence rounds mushroom making the wound channel like a .45 cal. The regular Silver Bear isn't bad either as a potent round. That being said, I feel that my P-64 would stop a BG from taking my life in most cases. During the cooler months I carry my .45 and have the P-64 as...

Re: Sometimes I just love "experts"/authority figures.

They copied it because it was good. Not only did they just copy it, they made it better. The 9x18 is a excellent round for close range. Don't want to be shot by one. Real close to a 9mm 9x19. At close range, which is what pistols are designed for, the perp wouldn't know the difference especially on ...

Re: First shoot with "new to me" p64

The rear sight is drift adjustable. It's relatively simple to move it in the direction you want to move the bullet. Don't be surprised at how little you need to move the rear sight to produce a dramatic shift in where the bullet hits.
