Re: The Polish Police just bought 10,000 new pistols.
Awesome news. I'm going to do something crazy and buy 10. I have two and love them. I own a lot of guns, yet my more worn P64 rides in that holster most days. Why? Supremely comfortable to carry and it has never, ever malfunctioned. Rather unlike the Kahr PM9 that I had and got rid of. Heresy! Next...

Re: Old vs New (sporterising)
Unless you have a particularly pristine P64, I'd say go for it and let us see the results. I've considered doing some things to the P64 that I carry. I have two; one has bluing so terrible and worn, that it must have been screwed up from the factory, because the internals were still like new when i ...

Re: it's time to share the experience
Depends on the dog. If it's got a good guarding instinct and is large enough to successfully engage a man (german shepard, yellow lab, doberman, pitbull, etc), I'd take the dog if I could only have one. A good bark will scare away a lot of intruders, and few men want to engage a dog big enough to ta...

Re: P64 strength
No worries. I was just curious primarily aboit what kind of abuse load-wise the different Makarov shooting guns can handle, the specifically P64. You see, I bought a box of buffalo load and have shot 9x19mm in it before. Good god you shot 9mm out of a 9x18 pistol? You're lucky the slide didn't fly ...

Re: Pocket carry of P-64?
Does anyone actually think the p64 wasn't designed with concealed carry in mind?

Re: S&W M&P Shield 40 Vs P64 Pocket Carry
But wait, there's more! EDIT: After pocket carrying for a while, a few things noticeable right away. First, the weight and size are no problem. I do not know it is there when seated for long periods of time, and walking is like having a big pocket phone, which I have always had anyway. O.K., maybe ...

Re: FMJ or HP in 9x18?
I see a lot of numbers bandied about. I wonder how many of them were tested in a P64 with consistent distances from the muzzle. I bet the velocity and penetration is less than advertised, when shot through these pocket guns. I made some handloads for my cz82 and could not equal the performance and ...

Re: Why do I bother with modern subcompacts?
Kahr recommends a 200 round break in period. I am guessing you did that? I may get rid of my P64 because I have a Kahr CW9 and a Kel-Tec p11 that I bought for CCW. Yup did the break in. Keep the P64 until you verify those newer guns are 100%. I had thought my kahr was. Scary the way it failed on me...

Re: Why do I bother with modern subcompacts?
I have gotten away from preformance ammo cause I liked to shoot a lot of it before I was satisfied with the functioning. Lets say 150 rounds no problems. It just cost too much to find out and then if it did'nt, well, what a waste. How does the Kahr do with quality ball 115? Fails to hold open on th...

Why do I bother with modern subcompacts?
Took some guns out to the range today. Lately, I've been carrying my Kahr CM9 when I pocket carry, and my P64 when I belt carry. I haven't unloaded or unchambered either in a couple months. So I decided to bring both out to the range as is, and test them in the condition in which I have been carryin...

Re: One more question please regards reliabilty
MY first outing 150 + rounds, no problems. Since then with many others, no problems My first outing with other micro 380's and 9mm did not fair well. If the pistol jams once I start not liking it. Amen. My p64 makes my kahr pm9 and sig 238 look bad. It doesn't care what you load it with, how you ho...

Re: PA 63 recoil compared to P 64
My mom has a Ruger lcp .380 for CC. She is practising for her class in 2 weeks, but she can not shoot it at all,I blame the gun as I can't shoot it well at all ether. I am thinking about the PA 63. She likes the weight of the lcp,and the shootablilty of my P 64. I want her to carry another P 64(she ...

Re: Odd safety on a P-83
I found a u-tube video that showed how it works, so I went back and checked my PA-63 and found the safety switch is stiff, but will move the hammer up I think the gun was never used...even the spring is strong/stiff and takes a lot of pull to cock the gun Glad you got it squared away.. and I'm not ...

Re: Odd safety on a P-83
btw you're not using your PA-63 properly, or it's broken. the PA-63 should operate the same way. Safety should go all the way up, hammer should drop. I checked my PA-63 and when the hammer is cocked the safety moves down halfway and frees the trigger, but the hammer stays cocked That is ABSOLUTELY ...
