Re: Cracked Marschal Grips

Sadly, just one round. Both grips broke and the sharp edges left behind were right in the web of my hand.

Re: Cracked Marschal Grips

I got mine a couple weeks ago, they look and feel great! Unfortunately, both grips had the beaver tail shatter off on the first shot I fired. I sent details and images to Marschal's a little more than a week ago, but no response yet.

Question for SOG customers

Hello, 1. I recently signed up at SOG and sent them my pertinents. I was reading their small print and saw that their website prices are cash prices (-2%) and any orders placed with a credit card will not receive cash pricing. That's fine, I just was wondering if this is accurate. 2. I also noticed ...

Widener's is selling these for $199.00 + shipping. I ordered one over the weekend.

Re: Cracked Marschal Grips

They look outstanding! I'm excited to try that beaver tail design.

I just sent you an email regarding your new cut/design for these P64 grips. I hope I can get them on the set of grips I just ordered last week. Really nice work!

Take care,
G.

Re: New member with question

Nice to hear a couple people with a similar attitude towards guns. I've been blasted too often by internet commandos. I took my P64 to the range this afternoon, WOW is it accurate. And a joy to shoot as well. For my hands/grip, the recoil was what I would call moderate. The first round I fired was d...

Quick reply: If a picture doesn't show, right click on 'x' and select show picture. I switched web hosting providers this month and have seen some pictures not showing up.

Take care,
G.

Re: New member with question

A couple things I did right out of the box: The safety was chunky, which I expected after reading a good bit of the posts here while waiting for AIM to ship. So when I had everything completely stripped, I went ahead and removed the tooling marks on the safety round. Very simple, nothing drastic. I ...

Re: New member with question

Thank you. As it turned out, there was no cosmoline to be found on my P-64. Just a fair amount of excess oil inside the grips and the one used magazine. Also the large build up of rust/crud/gunk around the chamber and breech face was easy to clear away. All of the internals look great, along with th...

Re: New member with question

Thanks all. I just got back from errands, so now I can give it my full attention. First glance at externals, it's an IO Inc import, 1973, some wear around muzzle, trigger guard, front side of mag well. No major dings or dents, grips look good. One mag looks unused while the other shows wear. Bore lo...

New member with question

I'm anxiously awaiting my first P-64...it's due to be delivered from AIM today. I've used my C&R for years as a cost saving tool, but never to purchase a firearm designated C&R. That has changed. And I'm fairly certain that when my newest addition arrives today, it will open up yet another n...
