American Arms CX22

Does anyone know anything about the 22 cal American Arms CX22 (NOT NAA) semi-auto pistol? It looks like a PPK. I saw one at a gun shop today and love the looks of it. Very good shape and they want $155 for it. Would like to have it just because it's another pistol that looks like a PPK. Anybody know...

Installing grips on a PA63

Are there any complications to installing new grips on a PA63 or do they just come off and go back on without any springs flying or any other complications? Thanks and good shooting to all!

Re: How much for a PA-63

OK, so it appears they are getting harder to find. But as I said, this PA-63 at $243 firm is at a local shop. Therefore, NO shipping, NO transfer fee, which would bring any guns bought elsewhere at $159 and up to over $200 and I would be buying a gun without actually seeing and checking it out. I ha...

How much for a PA-63

I was in a local shop today that has a PA-63 that is new in box and in perfect condition. What's a going price? They want $243 firm. I imagine that's high but it sure is beautiful. Unless someone here tells me that is way too high, I might not be able to resist!! Thanks!!!

FEG SMC 918 and SMC 380

Are the FEG 918 and SMC 380 pistols the same except for the different calibers? And is an unfired SMC 380 (perfect condition) worth $240?

Another question about safeties!

OK, lots of discussion about broken safeties! People talk of safeties breaking while shooting. Do they actually break while shooting WITHOUT activating the safety, or is it using the safety between rounds? And if they break while OFF, is the gun still functional (except safety)? So much talk about t...

safety

Hey guys, I'm a newer member with a great 1970 P64. While reading posts, I have come to understand there just are NO spare parts available. Now the question--- my safety is very hard to operate. This gun appeared to be unissued or used very little. Is this something that will get better with use, or...

Re: P-64 vs cz82 recoil

I really don't understand why so many people talk about the recoil of a P64! I just don't see it as that bad. My 380 LCP has much more kick, as does a Kel Tec 9mm, etc. There are plenty of others also. Now I will agree, the DA trigger is the worst I've shot myself. I knew it was supposed to be heavy...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO

Hi everyone! Just bought my P64 a couple of weeks or so ago. Isn't this a neat pistol!!! I'm 63 & retired but only been into firearms for the last ten years or so. Grew up in Kansas City, MO but lived in Independence (Truman Town) MO for 37 years until Aug. 2009. Then my wife and I took the plun...

Re: Future value of P64

Hey R.A.M.--- I hope you didn't take my reply wrong! I didn't mean to imply that dollar signs were all that was important to you. It's just that I'm a couple of years older than you (39 yrs older) and in my life I've let some things slip by over a few bucks that I wish I hadn't. The chrome sure look...

I have put one box of S&B through mine with no problems. Also used Fioche and Privi. No malfunctions with any. Haven't tried any JHP's yet.

Re: Future value of P64

To chrome or not to chrome..... future value..... it's what it's worth to me that matters! It will cost as much or more to chrome a P64 as you probably paid for it. So you would have to get double your money back to break even. So IMHO, chrome it if it makes you happy. Isn't that what this forum abo...

New owner & member!!!

I'm a new member who just bought this great pistol a couple of weeks ago. I LOVE THIS GUN!!! I've already ordered grips from Marschal's and really look forward to getting them. I currently own a Browning, 2 Rugers, and a Beretta also. In the past I've also owned a S&W, a Taurus and a Kel-Tec. I ...
