Re: Made some videos
Fortunately I never did have to make that video! I also no longer have mine. I traded it for a Ruger Mark 2 6" BBL some years back. However, in very glad that people are still finding them useful and relevant. Not sure if they still are, but at the time they were the ONLY videos online to cover...

Looking for moral support on .270 Win 130gr SST load
I've been going back and forth on what kind of load to use in my Remington 700 BDL .270 Win. I bought some Hornady 130gr SST bullets earlier this year as that's what I plan on shooting from it. I had some 130gr Federal Power-Shok that I bought from Walmart when I first bought the rifle from the olde...

Re: powder coating lead bullets
I've had good success with 158gr .358" PC bullets in a Ruger Vaquero .357 Mag. Loaded them up to almost fullpower jacketed velocity with VihtaVouri N110. I tumbled them around in a ziploc bag for a minute or so by hand. Bake them in a toaster oven for 15 minutes on about 375 degrees. Leading ha...

Re: Bought some more stuff.
Alright, my last review on this press was about 2 1/2 years ago. I am happy to report this press is still going strong, no surprise as it's a tank. I have acquired several add-ons for it and I have 9mm Luger, .357 Mag, and .45 ACP complete setups always ready to go. Just drop the shellholder on the ...

A person did do some mill-work and made a hi-viz sight work.
I always applied a white base coat and then a red layer over the white. Helps it stand out, using Tester's model car/plane paint.

Re: cleaning cases
Also, I don't bother cleaning the primer pockets unless they are somehow super filthy. A standard small pistol primer has around 5,000 PSI (or so I've read) and will blow out most any obstruction much less some carbon from a previous firing. Case trimming should be done after sizing. Otherwise if yo...

Re: cleaning cases
You could always be like these guys on this Facebook group that I am on. You use this Lemishine / Dawn Dishsoap concoction. You wet tumble them in it, then size them, then tumble them again, then trim them, then tumble them, then prime them, then load them, then tumble them again (in dry media). In ...

Re: Brass catcher, best $20.00 deal I have gotten
Here is the one I made... http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4590 It works pretty good. It gets tricky dealing with different handguns because they all seem to eject differently. You usually just have to bend the hoop a little and it'll catch most all the brass then. Cheap to ...

Re: Made some videos
The recoil spring will come with a (40%) stronger firing pin spring. The idea is that the original firing pin spring is "worn" out and this extra power firing pin spring will help get the firing pin retracted into the slide faster so as to reduce the possibility of the firing pin snagging ...

Re: Made some videos
I used a 20# recoil spring. It did reduce some of the felt recoil and slightly added a bit more force needed to rack the slide but not that much. I never paid attention to it anyway. I liked the 17# mainspring. It really lowered the DA trigger pull. It did further lighten the SA trigger pull. Didn't...
