I'll post a picture of the shell. It is brass shell, not steel. Fiocci Hungarian made. I indeed do feel very lucky. Nobody was at home when this happened and the gun fall facing my durection. I found bullet hole in the ceiling just above where I stood.

I thought it would never happen to me, but it did. P64 is my CCW. After I cleaned and lubed it last Sunday, I managed to drop it from about 3 feet on the basement floor. Loaded, decocked, safety off.
